What Did You Miss This Week? (Week 231 #274)

Beginnings and Endings!!!

Joe is out of town this week teaching at the Augusta Heritage Festival so Shoji conducted class. He talked about how to count off and begin songs as well as how to end them. We ran through a variety of count-offs and he demonstrated them and answered questions. Great session!

              Robbie Robertson Interview!!!

The astute among you will immediately say that Robbie Robertson, formerly of The Band, is not a harmonica player. True. But, this interview on NPR is interesting because Robertson talks about seeing Sonny Boy Williamson and about playing with Bob Dylan. He also spends some time talking about the songwriting process, so check it out here: Robbie Robertson Interview.
